Great house for people love the outdoors: Crau House by Nico van der Meulen

Nico van der Meulen has created an unique interpretation of modern style in design of this house.
With an inviting swimming pool, outdoor living space, and intriguing atrium and windowed stairways, we bet that this Crau House is dream house of every one. This Crau house is clearly the domain of people who love the outdoors — and want to bring it inside with them without fuss. From the gracious entryway with its vintage clock and elegant foyer accents, you can see directly into a lush tropical garden that seems part of the very home décor itself. Look more closely and you see that it is, indeed, a garden and so much more: open to illumination from outdoors, it’s a double-height central “courtyard” that hosts tall, feathery trees, lush ferns, and a tiny pond with a soothing water wall.

The imposing House Duk showcasing fantastic outdoor living space

Envisioned and developed by Nico van der Meulen Architects, this imposing House Duk located in the beautiful South Africa impressed us with its fantastic outdoor living space. Surrounded by a massive landscape garden, the House Duk designed with two spacious stories offers the owners ideal spaces to admire the natural beauty from every room in the house. According to the architects, “The best part of this design is the way the entrance entices your curiosity with long stone cladded screen walls and once inside, the transparency and openness of this home that lies behind these solid entrance walls creates interesting contrast.”
