Gorgeous cloud-like lamp design causing strong impression

Known as an inspiring work of Producks Design Studio in cooperation with Mika Barr, this gorgeous lamp design named Ori can be used to decorate almost any type of space and bring a cozy ambiance to everywhere they appear. Ori stands for “folding” in Japanese and “light” in Hebrew. The most interesting characteristic of this cloud-like lamp is that it can be folded, the shape can be changed and the structure can be easily “defined” by the printed pattern. “Ori makes the user part of the process, giving him the opportunity to interfere in the final design and give it a unique shape. The shape can be changed time and time again. The light coming through the fabric also reveals the inner geometric structure printed on the inside of the fabric.”, explained the designers.

 

Woodspot –an interesting lamp design idea by Alessandro Zambelli

Contemporary, charming and original, this interesting lamp design called Woodspot was creatively envisioned by Alessandro Zambelli for Mantua-based furnisher Seletti.

Woodspot is comprised of a base and a light diffuser, both in pine with a natural finish. Look at the photos we feature here, you can easily see that the diffuser itself is available in ivory white, flesh pink or pastel green, while the base rests at an angle, like the prop of a photo frame. This brings the lamp a fascinating look of a three-dimensional frame, projected to the boundary of unreality. According to the designer, Woodspot is 22 cm long, 44 cm high and 23 cm deep. The lamp fitting is suitable for light sources of up to 60W.
